*Mass Servers – Both Youth and Adult

  • Assist Father at weekend and Holy Day Masses Instructional training provided by Mary Willadsen or Joann Vanderlinde

*Lectors – Both Youth and Adult

  • Read first and second readings, choice of once or twice a month and do service end announcements

*Eucharistic Ministers– Both Youth and Adult

  • The Most honorable job you will Ever have! All training provided after being approved by Archdiocese

*Greeters – Both Youth and Adult

  • Greet and welcome people as they enter church

*Ushers – Both Youth and Adult

  • Weekend and Holy Day Masses. Greet and seat parishioners, count attendance, take up collection, distribute bulletins at Mass end, after Mass bag money collected and deposit in Church safe. Instructional training available

*Main Choir, Funeral Choir, Cantors and Instrumentalists – Both Youth and Adult

  • Practice as requested by music director Kathy Mahoney
  • Can not sing, but you can play an instrument – we are looking for instrumentalists too!
  • If you do not feel you can commit to our main choir, but still wish to contribute by singing when you can, you are invited to join us for singing at funerals

*First Friday Adoration – Both Youth and Adult

  • Held first Friday of each month. Need two people for each time slot starting at 7:00AM to 5:00PM Closing and Benediction. Adorers can be a prayer partner any hour you choose.

*Pastoral Ministry – Home-bound and Medical Care Centers

  • Visit parishioners that are home-bound and also at medical care centers, Pray with them and bring them Holy Communion

*Church Gardens – Both Youth and Adult

  • One week a month water potted plants and weed gardens during the growing season. 

*Food Shelf Deliveries – Both Youth and Adult

  • Help provide transportation of food collected in Fellowship Hall during Parish food drives to local food shelves, both in Waconia and Mound

*Assist or Fill In for Parish Maintenance Efforts (Sid Melancon)

  • Assist Sid with maintenance of church facilities and parish grounds or be identified as temporary maintenance replacement in times of Sid’s absence. Church and partial school cleaning, snow removal and mowing
