St. Boniface Parish Projects for Future Consideration

  1. Church parking lot resurface/repair
  2. Joseph alter realignment – out of plumb approximately one inch
  3. Church sidewalk and stairway fence sandblast/strip for repaint, rusting. Re-caulk posts
  4. Main entrance to church (east door along Co. Rd. 92) repairsi
  5. North entrance to church needs repair/rebuild
  6. North entrance to church – handrails needed for south wall and center of stairway
  7. Spray foam ductwork in church basement to reduce heating/cooling costs, reduce dust infiltration
  8. Loose trim on church bell tower
  9. Painting of the lower portion of the walls in the Fellowship Hall
  10. Fellowship Hall floor tile cracks: kitchen, entry ways, men’s room, walls shifted
  11. Will need to start to budget for carpet replacement in the Fellowship Hall, possibly look at replacement in the next four years (By 2022)
  12. Flooring under pews – seams starting to separate and lift, need repairs
  13. Paint peeling off of church siding, above east Fellowship Hall door, near Sacristy entry door
  14. Water infiltration/seepage in basement of Rectory
  15. Front door repair/replacement of Rectory
  16. Spray foam ceiling in basement of Rectory to reduce dust infiltration
  17. Landscape of hill area along Main Street and school garage driveway
  18. Insulate north classrooms of school building
  19. School gym clean and repaint
  20. School gym floor tile and trim replace, also remainder of kitchen tile need to be replaced (approximately 100 tiles loose or popping off in gym floor
  21. School ceiling tile issues: gym area falling off and stained, classrooms and hallway-falling off and stained
  22. School kitchen counters, replace – may need to go with stainless steel
  23. School kitchen folding doors need repair/replacement, broken slates and hardware
  24. Add circulating pump for hot water heater supplying kitchen sinks, reduce water wasting
  25. School garage floor repair
  26. School bathrooms wall tile replacement, repaint rooms
  27. School bathrooms doorways need enlargement to accommodate wheel chair access
  28. Replacement a/c units for the classrooms, current units are 20+ years old and not efficient. Replacement units would be more efficient and use less energy.  Probable payback in a few years on energy saving alone –
  29. Cemetery – repair south concrete wall where vehicle struck it
  30. Cemetery – fence sandblast/strip for repaint, rusting, especially northwest and main gate areas
  31. Cemetery – need a “Rules” sign made and posted at gate entrances and north side of cemetery
