PARISH PROJECTS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION

We, as parishioners, look to share our time, talent, and treasure with our parish as we continue with keeping our buildings and grounds in good condition.  We must also remember that funding for the items listed may not have been secured.  As such, a funding source will need to be identified prior to engaging in many of these projects.

Please contact the parish office and let them know which item or items for which you would like to contribute

Time

Time is a very precious gift.  Most of us feel we don’t have enough time for all the things we want to do.  Everyone is given the same amount of time:  24 hours each day, 168 hours each week.

The question is:  How do we choose to use our time?
Your gift of time is unique, because you are the only one who can give it.

Talent

All of us have been blessed with various talents, whether we are aware of it or not, or whether we have developed our talents or not. Perhaps you could become a sacristan, sing in the choir, or simply serve food and punch at a parish reception.  Or do you like to paint, garden, have skill with carpentry, know how to tile, etc.?  No matter how big or small your contribution, when we serve together, we not only form friendships with one another, but we also deepen our relationship with God Himself.

Your gift of talent is a special gift only you can give. Remember the

words of St. Francis of Assisi: “It is in giving that we receive.”

Treasure

We spend our money on what’s most important to us.  Each year expenses rise such as utilities, the cost of maintenance on our buildings, and health insurance premiums.  Your financial offering to the parish helps to spread the Good News and keep our beautiful church and school in good repair.  The greater the generosity and the greater the sacrifice, the greater the joy.

Your gift of treasure is a direct gift only you can give. Remember the

words of St. Francis of Assisi: “It is in giving that we receive.”
